First Kings begins with Solomon’s wisdom and a splendid temple, then watches divided loyalties fracture the kingdom. The song follows the warning from royal glory to idolatry and the prophetic call to return to the Lord. Its central prayer is for one undivided heart: Jesus, greater than Solomon, is worth more than gold, a throne, or anything that competes for our devotion.
