Path to the Kingdom

This world keeps throwin’ weight on my shoulders
News always on repeat, and the world keeps gettin ’colder
A thousand “almosts” and “what-ifs” in run around my head
Tryna’ find some peace, where it can’t be found instead
But I hear You thru all the noise
Like a steady voice giving me a choice
So I’m droppin’ what I can’t hold on to
And I’m running to you Lord, I’m runnin’ to you

When I’m tired of the bad news, When I’m seeing all that’s wrong
that’s when you always pull me back to you, then I keep movin’ on

I’m on the path to the Kingdom
I’m seekin’ Him first where His will is done.
And when I trust you, oh Lord everything is made brand new.
You make fill my hearts empty spaces, I’m no longer alone
In the fight, in the storm, You’re the light that leads me home
I’m on the path to the Kingdom
And I know I’m not walkin’ alone

It’s hard to believe when life gets really hard
When prayers go up from my heart
Distractions take me away from You
and they fade so fast like a house built on sand
You’re truth shines thru as the world keeps getting farther from view.
You’re the Peace when the pressure gets harder the noise gets louder
So I’m plantin’ my feet on Your promise again
’Cause You’ve never failed me back then.

When I can’t see ahead, still I begin
You pull me back, you pull me in

I’m seekin’ Him first where His will is
