Holy Spirit
Album: You Can Live Forever • About NECM
Holy Spirit is a worshipful song about the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ working within His people. It describes the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of truth, wisdom, understanding, power, grace, holiness, comfort, and life. The song asks God’s Spirit to open our minds, strengthen us through trials, help us overcome sin, produce holy fruit, and bind our hearts together with the Father and the Son. It celebrates the Holy Spirit as God’s promised gift, leading His children toward everlasting life.

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
